Wildfire and Burned Men

Wildfire damage and spreading, Fire Bomb behavior, and Burned Man combat and drops.

Wildfire

Wildfire is a bright custom fire block. Breaking it by hand has a 25% chance to wildignite the player for 4 seconds. It respects claim protection.

Wildignite creates green flame visuals around the entity, displays the Wildfire status effect, and deals 1.25 custom wildfire damage once per second while the fire damage gamerule is enabled. On each damage tick it has a 10% chance to spread the remaining duration to one unlit living entity within 2.5 blocks.

Fire Bomb

Fire Bombs are throwable items with stack size 16 and a 1 second cooldown. They launch slightly upward.

Burned Man

Burned Men are hostile overworld monsters that do not spawn in peaceful mode. They spawn with weight 5 in groups of 2-3.

Burned Men target players, villagers, and iron golems. They attack in melee and at range. Melee hits ignite targets for 4 seconds. Ranged attacks throw Fire Bombs every 100 ticks, or 5 seconds, at up to 12 blocks.

Burned Men carry a small lantern light that updates around them and clears on death or removal.

Dragon hazard effects

Stormwing attacks can leave After Shock hazards and apply Shocked damage. Frostscale creates Frost Patches, freezes water and snow-covered terrain, and stacks Frostbite on targets. These hazards are explained with the other variant attacks on Dragons and Lures.

Heated Water

Heated Water is a custom block based on bubble column behavior with light level 4. It is part of the wildfire/world hazard set but is not a normal player-facing progression system yet.
